We believe Christian Formation is at the core of who we are as disciples of Jesus Christ.

The way we talk about that at First UMC Gulfport is in terms of a Journey — moving from one stage of faith to another.  Journey is essential to following Jesus.  It moves us from who we are right now as individuals and as a community of faith closer to the people God created us to be.  Journey gathers us together at various times and places to think, to study, to pray and to grow as disciples of Jesus.
